FAQ

Q: Am I limited in the number of campaigns I can run?

A: No. You can run as many campaigns as you would like; there is no limit.

Q: Can I edit an active campaign?

A: No. Once a campaign is activated, it cannot be modified. It can only be completed or deleted.

Q: Can I upload and use my own training material?

A: No. Training material is constantly being updated and expanded upon so that it covers all phishing security topics. Have any suggestions?

Q: Can I write my own newsletters or modify an existing newsletter?

A: Yes. Navigate to the Create Communication page - located under the "Communications" drop-down menu to create a new newsletter or to modify any of our existing newsletters.

Q: One of our employees says that they didn't click on the phishing email. How do I remove the fact that they clicked on the email from the results of the campaign?

A: You can clear that data by viewing the details of the given campaign, selecting the "Employee Data" button, searching for that employee in the results and then clicking the "eraser"(Clear All Attack Information) icon to the right of that user's record. Changes made using this method are tracked in the "Audit Log"

Q: Can I modify the language of the training reminder emails?

A: Yes. To modify the language/wording being used in the training reminder emails, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the General Settings page.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of that page and select either the "+" icon or the pencil icon to the right of the language you want to change the wording of. Once on the "Edit Languages" page, select the training reminder template you would like to edit by selecting the appropriate tab and make the desired changes.
  3. Once you are satisfied with the changes you've made, click "Save" at the top of the page.

Q: Can I automatically enroll new employees in a campaign?

A: Yes. Navigate to the "New Employees" section of the General Settings page and select the campaign in which you would like to automatically enroll new employees.

Each time your employee list is updated, Phish Threat compares the new list being uploaded to the existing list and assigns a temporary parameter of "New Hire" to each new email address. All users with this temporary parameter will be automatically enrolled in the campaign you've selected.

Q: Can I modify one of your phishing templates or create my own?

A: Yes. You can modify any of our existing templates or you can create your own phishing template from scratch by:
  1. Navigating to the Phishing Templates page located within the "Settings" drop-down menu.
  2. Select the "Create New Template" option.
  3. Name the template and specify an attack type.
  4. Click "Save-Stay on Page"
  5. Select the language you would like the template to be in by clicking the "+" icon to the right of that language.
  6. Select one of our phishing templates from the "Use Existing Template" drop-down or simply create your own from scratch.
  7. Click "Save".

Q: Can I send phishing emails using a sending domain other than those provided through the platform?

A: No. You can only send phishing simulations using the domains owned by Phish Threat. You can find a complete list of these domains on the Domain List page.
